PRAYER

Where is God and how to reach him?. Vivekananda tried to find God and he could reach up to the presence of God. You may not find him in  palatial mansions but find him in a hut of Kuchela. You may not find him near your high end knowledge house but find him playing with one illiterate. The depth of his creations can not be measured by humans. His profound vision can not be measured on a weighing scale. The really great ones will not go behind to measure the depth of their fellow beings. They will never come forward and declare that they are like that of Abraham Lincoln or Mahatma Gandhi. Only creator of this universe can do that job and he is the only one who is capable of doing it. Tagore humbles himself before God and his prayers are for Lord. It is true that a human does not need a Prayer and it is foolishness to offer it for a fellow human being. A river can not measure the depth of one Ocean, it can only fall on the surface of one ocean and end as a wave. The same way only God can understand the meaning of a Prayer; not a human. Look at the depth of this prayer Tagore offers to Lord.

All Around the World

All around the world darkness prevails

And so the luster in thee eyes effulges more

The cloud of gloom has engulfed in me from every direction

Lord your joyous countenance do I behold in the heart

Spreading the shadow of bereavement, Death travels

on every footstep

And seizes away the wealth of care whatsoever

Yet amidst that death the deathless image adorns

Leaving aside the bereavement of death I stare at that

Countenenance

Your message of assurance, have I come to listen, Lord

Never would I be afflicted with the false fear and vain bereavement

The pains of the heart would I tell and accept the nectar

by Prayer

Lord on your fearless lap have I been really favoured

with the shelter..

It is true that the only one place a human can surrender his self is at the sanctum of God and he is fearless and can only shelter the needy and his depth and his visions you can not toss down on ink marks. He makes me fearless and he understands a Prayer and he does not get tempered on a Prayer like the crownless kings of media..
