ബഷീർ പറയുന്നു; ദിനോസറിനെപോലെ അഴിമതിയെന്ന്. മരുഭൂമി കടന്ന് കൊച്ചി ഐ പി എല്ലിലെത്തിയ 70 കോടി അഴിമതിയ്ക്കെന്ത് പേരാണാവോ ബഷീർ നൽകുക. പിന്നെ ആ ലീഗിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥർ ഹർഷദ് മേത്തയുടെ ആളുകളെന്ന് ഈയിടെ വാർത്ത കണ്ടിരുന്നു.  ഇവർക്കെല്ലാം സ്വിസ് ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ടുമുണ്ട് എന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.

അഴിമതിയ്ക്ക് തന്നെ എത്ര പാർട്ടി. ഒരു അഴിമതിക്കാരെ കോൺഗ്രസും അവരെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്ന പത്രങ്ങളും പിന്തുണയ്ക്കും, മറ്റു പാർട്ടികളും അതുപോലെ തന്നെ. പിന്നെ നമ്മളുമതുപോലെ തന്നെ

അഴിമതി കാട്ടിയാലും ചിലരെ നമ്മൾ പൂമാലയിട്ടു സ്വീകരിച്ച് പട്ടും വളയും നൽകും..

പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയെയും, സോണിയ ഗാന്ധിയെയും കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്താൻ നമുക്ക് യോഗ്യതയുണ്ടോ എന്നു ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു

നമ്മളൊക്കൊയിങ്ങനെയായതുകൊണ്ടല്ലേ കൊണ്ടല്ലേ 72 വയസ്സായ ഹസാരെ നിരാഹാരത്തിനൊരുങ്ങിയത്. നമ്മളുടെ ഒരു വശത്തേയ്ക്ക് മാത്രം ചരിയുന്ന ചിന്താഗതി; ഇറോം ശർമ്മിളയെ ആരും ശ്രദ്ധിയ്ക്കാതെ പോകുന്നതിന്റെ കാരണവുമതു തന്നെ. അഴിമതി കാട്ടിയവർ വി ഐ പി ഗാലറിയിലിരുന്നു വേൾഡ് കപ്പ് മാച്ച് കാണും. ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി ക്രിക്കറ്റ് കളിച്ചവരെ മറന്ന് ഈ അഴിമതിക്കാർക്ക് കിട്ടും സെലിബ്രിറ്റി കപ്പ്.

നമ്മളുടെ ചിന്താഗതി മാറാത്തിടത്തോളം കാലം ഹസാരെയെപ്പോലുള്ളവർ നിരാഹാരം ചെയ്യേണ്ടിവരുമെന്ന് തെളിഞ്ഞുകഴിഞ്ഞു.

ഇന്ത്യയിലിനിയും അനേകമനേകം ഹസാരെമാരുണ്ടാവട്ടെ. നിരാഹാരം ചെയ്തെങ്കിലും അവർ ഈരാജ്യത്തെയൊന്നു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കട്ടെ.

ANNA HAZARE

Dr.Kisan Baburao Hazare, popularly known as Anna Hazare (b. June 15, 1938), is an Indian social activist who is especially recognized for his contribution to the development of Ralegan Siddhi, a village in Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra, India and his efforts for establishing it as a model village, for which he was awarded the Padma Bhushan by Govt. of India, in 1992. On April 5, 2011, he has started a fast unto death to make a pressure on union government to enact Lokpal Bill a law on Lokpal that deals with corruption in public offices.

ARREST

Anna Hazare was arrested in 1998 during Shiv Sena-BJP rule in Maharashtra when a defamation suit was filed against him by then Maharashtra Social Welfare minister Babanrao Golap of Shiv Sena. He was released following public uproar.

LOKPAL BILL MOVEMENT

The movement attracted attention very quickly through various media. It has been reported that thousands of people joined to support Mr. Hazare's effort. Almost 150 people are reported to join Mr. Hazare in his fast. He said that he would not allow any politician to sit with him in this movement. Many social activists including Medha Patkar, Arvind Kejriwal and former IPS officer Kiran Bedi have lent their support to Hazare's hunger strike and anti-corruption campaign.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOVT PROPOSALS AND ANNA HAZARE VERSION.

GOVT PROPOSAL

Lokpal will have no power to initiate suo moto action or receive complaints of corruption from the general public. It can only probe complaints forwarded by LS Speaker or RS Chairman.

Lokpal will only be an Advisory Body. Its part is only limited to forwarding its report to the "Competent Authority"

Lokpal will not have any police powers. It can not register FIRs or proceed with criminal

investigations.


CBI and Lokpal will act have no connection with each other.

Punishment for corruption will be minimum 6 months and maximum up-to 7 years.

HAZARE VERSION

1. Lokpal will have powers to initiate suo moto action or receive complaints of corruption from the general public.

2. Lokpal will be much more than an Advisory Body. It should be granted powers to initiate Prosecution against anyone found guilty.

3. Lokpal will have police powers. To say that it will be able to register FIRs.

4. Lokpal and anti corruption wing of CBI will be one Independent body.

5. The punishment should be minimum 5 years and maximum up-to life imprisonment.

This movement has also been joined by many people providing their suppport in Internet social media such as twitter and facebook. Many celebrities like Shekhar Kapur, Siddharth Narayan, Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar, Pritish Nandy, Prakash Raj, Aamir Khan showed their public support through twitter. [3]

• Indira Priyadarshini Vrikshamitra award, by government of India on November 19, 1986 from the hands of Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi.
• Krishi Bhushana award by Maharashtra government in 1989.
• Felicitation by Ahmednagar Municipal Corporation 15 January 1987
• Felicitation by Pune Municipal Corporation.

• On April 15, 2008, Kisan Baburao Hazare received the World Bank's 2008 Jit Gill Memorial Award for Outstanding Public Service: "Hazare created a thriving model village in Ralegan Siddhi, in the impoverished Ahmednagar region of Maharashtra state, and championed the right to information and the fight against corruption.

IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE

There lived a Proud King. He thought he is unconquerable. He invaded many kingdoms grabbed their wealth and ruthlessly erased those who opposed him. He became an emperor in his own terms. His head turned heavy with the thoughts that he is the greatest among great and superior above supreme. He had a lot of people around to praise him that he gifted a lot of gold coins and fields to those who praised him. He loved those who praised him and he chased away those who criticized him. He never could take even a sound criticism. He spent his conquered wealth on lavish durbars and feasts and loved all the star studded life all in his life. He assumed he is the unquestionable human on this earth and once a Saint visited him in his palace with a few of his disciples. The King gifted him with a lot of gold coins and valuables but this saint refused to accept any of them. Displeased with Saint’s refusal he asked for the reason and Saint asked the king to follow him and took him to a village. A death had taken place in that house that a small girl died. King was not pleased with the unfamiliar ambience of poverty and death and the whole lot of trauma he witnessed around.

The Saint called King and requested. Oh King you assume that you are the Lord of this Kingdom and you have got a lot of wealth. With your extra ordinary powers and popularity can you make this girl walk back from death bed?.

The King did not know how to bring back a girl from her death bed as he only knew to invade, chase and acquire more wealth. He looked at the Saint with a defeated look.

The Saint called one of his disciples and asked him. Can you bring back this girl from death bed?
“I am not here to challenge God but if you wish so with your blessings I can try.”

His disciple replied in an obedient manner and closed his eyes for a while and placed his hands on her forehead for a while. After a while she opened her eyes and smiled at her parents.

The King could not believe his eyes and he was totally embarrassed at his defeat on a Saint’s feet, who did not even have a spare robe to change. King realized his follies and decided to accept his mistakes.. He offered all his wealth to the Saint but the Saint refused to accept anything. He told the King that each grain of sand in this world got its own importance and God has a plan for each and every creation of this universe. Do not think that a grain of sand has got less importance than a rock piece from a Giant Mountain. Acquiring more wealth for luxuries and to receive acclaims not help you to become a noble human being. Distribute your wealth for the betterment of your kingdom and of the poor instead of distributing it to those who praise you for gold coins. What is the use of acquiring more wealth if you can’t bring back a human from death bed with your whole lot of wealth?

From that day the King has transformed for better and he realized that each grain of sand got its own importance. He started distributing his wealth for the welfare of his kingdom.
